The Garden I don't Have

Bloom sweet buds of May
Profusion blossoms flutter
Warm fragrant evening

Iridescent bird
Searches for bright spring blossoms
Life giving nectar

Red velvet petals
Cascade of begonias drip
Sweet droplets of dew

Iris

Pointed leaves slice dirt
Heady perfume, Iris bloom

I Find The Sun

I find a place infused with sun
I find I'm in my garden.
feet propped up, book in hand.
I find the smell of sweet peas intoxicating.
I find a cool raindrop spattered on my skin.

Trapped!

Breaking apart cracked.
Frantic to break out of shell.
Baby chick is born.

I Want Again

I Want Again

What ever happened to us?
In a crowded room, you wore old spice,
you held my hand, there was just us.
Now we arrive, we part at the door,
I watch that Stetson walking away.

I want again, strong arms and old spice.
To feel your warm hand reach for mine.
So I ask you to turn the television off,
I hear the click, I feel your hand.
What ever happened to us?

Crystal water fall
Words and letters tinkling down
Pooling on the ground

Fountain pen in hand
Cull them out, and polish them
Special wisdom pearls

Diamonds and rubies
Glittering colors adorn
